How to service the ignition coil on 2008 Scion xD?

Service of the ignition coil starts by lifting the rear of the No. 2 cylinder head cover to remove its 2 fittings followed by lifting the front to unscrew the remaining 2 fittings until the cover fully comes off while preserving all rubber grommets on the cover; any grommets found on bolts should be moved to the cover. First disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector before removing the ignition coil connectors. Then detach each of the 4 ignition coil bolts followed by the ignition coils. Finally, remove the 4 spark plugs.
