  A: The service process for the Clock Spring Assembly / Clock Spring begins with first disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. Removing the steering pad requires users to loosen "Torx" socket wrench T30 bolts then pull the pad forward until the locking button releases with a thin-bladed screwdriver so users can disconnect the 2 Air Bag connectors followed by detaching the horn connector. You must start the repair by taking out three screws which enable you to disconnect both upper and lower covers through claw disengagement.
