2007 Toyota Yaris Antenna Parts Q&A
Q: How to service and repair the Amplifier Antenna for a Sedan on 2007 Toyota Yaris?
A: Service or repair of the Sedan Amplifier Antenna begins with disconnecting the negative battery cable. The service begins with removing the rear seat cushion cover pad sub-assembly before proceeding to take out the rear seatback assembly. The service of Amplifier Antenna on 60/40 Split Seat Type requires removal of the luggage compartment floor mat along with spare wheel cover assembly and luggage compartment trim inner pad. The service begins with removing the rear door scuff plate together with the rear door opening trim Weather Strip and rear seat side cover and roof side inner garnish. The procedure requires detachment of antenna cord connector along with two amplifier antenna connectors then releasing the clamp to remove the bolt from the amplifier antenna assembly. You need to place the hook into the body hole before fastening the amplifier antenna with the bolt while you engage the clamp which lets you reattach the two amplifier antenna connectors to the antenna cord connector. The installation process includes mounting the roof side inner garnish followed by the rear seat side cover after which you should install the rear door opening trim Weather Strip and then add the rear door scuff plate and luggage compartment trim inner pad and spare wheel cover assembly and finish with the luggage compartment floor mat. To complete the training install the rear seatback assembly followed by the rear seat cushion cover pad sub-assembly and finally restore connector to the negative battery terminal using a torque value of 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf).
