The new proportioning valve assembly installation requires torquing at 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.) for the two bolts followed by reattachment of the 5 brake tubes at 15.2 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.) using Special Service Tool: 09023-00101. To complete the installation use brake fluid in the reservoir and operate Special Service Tool: 09023-00101 for master cylinder bleeding followed by brake line bleeding before checking the reservoir fluid level.
