    A: Service of front Air Bag sensors begins with disconnecting the negative battery cable and waiting at least ninety seconds to stop Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. Sever the No. 1 air cleaner inlet through bolt removal followed by the inlet removal process. Start by disconnecting the sensor connector of the left-hand side front Air Bag sensor before uninstalling its bolts followed by the sensor. The sensor installation procedure needs to be repeated for the right-hand side sensor. The left front Air Bag sensor installation requires securing two bolts with 17.5 N.m (178 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf) torque specification. Instances of Air Bag sensor drops and appearance of cracks or dents or defects require replacement of the unit. The SRS wiring should be placed in a manner that avoids any contact with other parts and ensures no wire pinching occurs. Perform a free play inspection of the connection parts before linking the sensor connector. Perform the installation procedure once more for the right front Air Bag sensor while maintaining all torque requirements along with safety precautions intact. After fixing the second sensor install the No. 1 air cleaner inlet with its bolt and reconnect the negative battery terminal cable followed by a check of the SRS warning light operation.
