How to replace the Clock Spring Assembly / Spiral Cable on 2004 Toyota 4Runner?

In order to remove the Clock Spring Assembly, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and make sure that the front wheels are straight. Take the steering wheel, horn button assembly and steering wheel assembly off. Detach Air Bag connector and clock spring sub-assembly and check and change when damaged. Install components checking the SRS warning light, and center the clock spring.
