    A: The process of front crankshaft seal replacement begins by removing the front wheel RH, front fender splash shield front RH, front fender apron seal RH, engine mounting stay No.2 RH, engine cover sub-assy No.1, and engine moving control rod w/bracket by taking out the 3 bolts. The technician should proceed to remove engine mounting bracket No.2 RH followed by fan and generator V belt using Special Service Tool: 09249-63010 and then loosen the crankshaft pulley bolt with Special Service Tool: 09213-54015 (91651-60855), 09330-00021 and ultimately remove the crankshaft pulley with Special Service Tool: 09950-50013 (09951-05010, 09952-05010, 09953-05020, 09954-5021). Use a knife to cut the oil seal lip and use a taping tip screwdriver to pry out the oil seal while inspecting the crankshaft for damage which can be mended with sandpaper (# 400). Apply MP grease to a new oil seal lip which must be clean from foreign substances before tapping it in using Special Service Tool: 09223-22010 along with hammer blows until it reaches the rear oil seal retainer edge while wiping away any excess grease from the crankshaft. Reposition the crankshaft pulley through the pulley set key positioning with Special Service Tool: 09213-54015 (91651-60855), 09330-00021 before screwing in the pulley bolt with a torque of 170 Nm (1,733 kgf-cm, 125 inch lbs.). The repair procedure involves installing the crankshaft pulley using Special Service Tool: 09249-63010 followed by applying torque to the fan and generator V belt with a specifed value of 52 Nm (531 kgf-cm, 38 ft. lbs.). Follow this by tightening engine mounting bracket No.2 RH along with the engine moving control rod w/bracket to 64 Nm (653 kgf-cm, 47 ft. lbs.) and finally secure the engine mounting stay No.2 RH to 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.). Return the front wheel on the right side then check for any oil leakage. To replace the engine rear oil seal (2AZ-FE) start by taking out the engine assembly w/transaxle followed by removing the drive plate & ring gear sub-assy by using Special Service Tool: 09213-54015 (91651-60855), 09330-00021 as well as the 8 bolts the rear spacer drive plate and front spacer Cut off the oil seal lip then pry out the oil seal to check for crankshaft damage before fixing any necessary damages. The mechanic should apply MP grease to the new oil seal lip while preserving its cleanliness from foreign elements and should use Special Service Tool: 09223-15030, 09950-70010 (09951-07100) to position the oil seal until it reaches the full extent of the rear oil seal retainer before cleaning away surplus grease.
