The first step to serve the front speed sensor requires the removal of the fender liner to reveal and disconnect the speed sensor connector. Start by disconnecting the speed sensor by firstly unscrewing its bolt while also removing the flexible hose and the speed sensor harness clamp from the shock absorber and torquing it to 29 Nm (300 kgf-cm, 21 ft. lbs.). After removing the resin clip and clamp bolt which supports the sensor harness to the body you should apply 5.4 Nm torque (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.). To finish the procedure detach the speed sensor from the steering knuckle at 7.8 Nm (80 kgf-cm, 69 inch lbs.). The installation process requires following the reverse order of removal with a validation of the speed sensor signal upon completion.
