How to service the front speed sensor on 2001 Toyota Sienna?

Start the front speed sensor service by taking off the screws from both the speed sensor connector and the fender liner before taking out the connector. First disconnect the speed sensor from the steering knuckle while using a torque tool that maintains 7.8 Nm (80 kgf-cm, 69 inch lbs.). The bolt along with flexible hose and speed sensor harness clamp have to be removed from the shock absorber while torquing to 29 Nm (300 kgf-cm, 21 ft. lbs.). Next remove the resin clip and clamp bolt which hold the sensor harness to the body but maintain application torque at 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.). Reinstallation procedures should be done in reverse order and a signal test of the speed sensor must be conducted following installation.
