The Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve installation requires a professional to apply Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324 or Three Bond 1324 or equivalent to 2 or 3 threads of the valve. Start by coating 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve with Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324 or three bond 1324 or equivalent adhesive before installing it with a torque of 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf) using a 22 mm deep socket wrench. Starting the engine must be delayed for at least 1 hour after performing the installation steps. Installing the ventilation hose requires you to check for exhaust gas leaks. Next, install both the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly followed by the brake master cylinder reservoir sub-assembly.

The installation of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve requires users to apply Toyota genuine adhesive 1324, three bond 1324, or same equivalent to several ventilation valve sub-assembly threads. The 19 mm deep socket wrench should be used to install the ventilation valve sub-assembly with torque set at 27 Nm (275 kgf-cm, 20 ft-lbf). The second ventilation hose needs to be connected to its corresponding component of the ventilation valve sub-assembly. First install the airflow mechanism which follows the intake manifold. Death as the last step in the process includes an inspection for oil leakage.

Begin installation of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve by applying Toyota genuine adhesive 1324 or three bond 1324 and equivalent products to 2 or 3 threads of ventilation valve. Follow this procedure by applying adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of ventilation valve with the Toyota genuine adhesive 1324, three bond 1324, or an equivalent. Next, install the ventilation valve using a 19 mm deep socket wrench with a torque of 27 Nm (275 kgf-cm, 20 ft-lbf). The installation requires you to connect the No. 2 ventilation hose to the ventilation valve. You should install the intake manifold after this step. The last step of the procedure includes checking for oil leaks in the system.

First, separate the Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Sub-Assembly.

Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve using Toyota genuine adhesive 1324, three bond 1324, or an equivalent.

Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve using Toyota genuine adhesive 1324, three bond 1324, or an equivalent.

Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, remove the ventilation valve sub-assembly to complete the procedure.

Install the V-bank cover sub-assembly.

First, remove the intake manifold by detaching it from the engine.
