Install the lower No. 1 instrument panel finish panel followed by the cowl side trim sub-assembly LH and finish with the front door scuff plate LH. The maintenance process starts by disconnecting the Front Door Scuff Plate LH and the Cowl Side Trim Sub-Assembly LH before proceeding to take off the Lower No. 1 Instrument Panel Finish Panel. The procedure needs to be performed two more times for the Front Door Scuff Plate RH along with the Cowl Side Trim Sub-Assembly RH. The technician should then proceed with unfastening the No. 2 Instrument Panel Under Cover Sub-Assembly followed by the Lower Instrument Panel Sub-Assembly and Shift Lever Knob Sub-Assembly and finally the Position Indicator Housing Assembly.
