Toyota Venza Dimmer Switch Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove the headlight dimmer switch on Toyota Venza?
A: The first step for removing the headlight dimmer switch involves setting the front wheels in a straight position then disconnecting the negative battery cable terminal but waiting at least ninety seconds to disable the SRS system. System initializations may be needed after reconnecting cable power. The service begins by taking away the lower No. 3 Steering Wheel cover followed by the lower No. 2 steering wheel cover before removing the steering pad. Continue the process by taking out the steering wheel assembly and lower steering column cover and upper steering column cover in succession. Remove the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly together with the windshield Wiper Switch assembly from the system. The removal process ends when you disconnect the connector and disengage the clamp and claw from the headlight dimmer switch assembly.
