The first step for installing the Hazard Warning Switch involves fastening the 4 claws for driver monitor switch position. The radio receiver assembly goes next and then the number one instrument panel speaker panel. Add the No. 2 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly after the console box sub-assembly and position indicator housing assembly and shift lever knob sub-assembly. The installer must complete installation of the lower instrument panel sub-assembly before adding the No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly. Proceed to install the cowl side trim sub-assembly RH by using the same installation method for the LH side and then install front door scuff plate RH followed by installing the RH side using the same procedure for the LH side. Install the lower No. 1 instrument panel finish panel followed by the cowl side trim sub-assembly LH and finish with the front door scuff plate LH. The last steps include fitting the air conditioning control assembly and console box assembly followed by installation of the No. 2 console box carpet and the upper console panel sub-assembly (w/o Seat Heater System or w/ Seat Heater System as applicable).

Remove the Lower No. 1 Instrument Panel Finish Panel.
