The first step for servicing and repairing the Air Bag Sensor Assembly Center requires following established safety procedures for Air Bag systems. The technician should disconnect the negative end of the battery cable for a minimum duration of 90 seconds to stop Air Bag triggering. The service begins by removing the Console Upper Rear Panel Sub-Assembly and Console Box Assembly Rear according to automatic and manual transmission and separate seat types. You should remove the Instrument Panel Cup Holder Tray along with the Console Box Front beginning from transmission types followed by seat configurations. Next disconnect the holder with connectors from the Air Bag Sensor Assembly Center while unscrewing its three bolts. Check for any sign of damage on the Air Bag Sensor Assembly Center.
