The Toyota Spindle Nut connects the wheel hub to the axle to ensure that your ride is smooth and safe. Toyota has gained global admiration as it produces vehicles that compromise on efficiency, durability and quick fixing at the assembly line with its renowned lean production techniques. Toyota has grown Hybrid Synergy Drive in recent years, provided plug-in options such as the 42-mile RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid, and introduced TNGA platform which improves handling and safety and Toyota is continually improving the driving business. A threaded nut called a Spindle Nut that clamps the hub to the spindle and preloads the bearing is applied to position the bearing, and the Toyota Spindle Nut is made to very tight tolerances to meet the brand reliability criteria. To install one, park safely, lift and hold the vehicle and then take off the wheel, dust cap, cotter pin, and old Spindle Nut and ensure that parts are kept in a tidy way. Wipe the spindle and the bearings, reattach the hub, reinstall the washer and thread the new Spindle Nut manually. Tighten and rotate the hub until bearings are snugly seated in their places and loosen slightly then re-tighten until you have smooth rotation with practically no play. Install the castle slots, insert a new cotter pin, bend its ends, bead bang on the dust cap, reattach the wheel, make sure the car is down low, and make sure the hub rotates evenly and without wobbling.
