Toyota Shock and Strut Boot ensure that the piston rod is not damaged by dirt, moisture and road grits and keeps the suspension quiet over many years. Since 1937 Toyota has expanded out of a Japanese workshop to become a global leader by adhering to the renowned lean production system that eliminates waste and addresses errors in a short time. Its Toyota TNGA undercarriage reduces the center of gravity and reinforced the frame which results in higher cornering and increased crash safety. In 2022 Hybrid Synergy Drive was perfected by the Toyota engineers and currently the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid can provide electric miles up to 42 without compromising on power. Customers love Toyota reliability, resale price, diverse selection of efficient models that can fit commuters, families, and adventurers. The car manufacturer is currently testing solid state batteries to take efficiency to a new level. A Shock and Strut Boot is a hard rubber jacket that prevents grit, allows oil seals to last longer, and prevents premature scoring of the rod. Installing the new Shock and Strut Boot requires that the car be parked on the ground, chock wheels, positioning of the brake and the lifting up of the car using jack stands. Take out wheel, unbolt strut attaching pieces and loosen top mount to allow the assembly to fall. Mark spring orientation, compress the coil, slide off the worn boot and bump stop, wipe the rod clean. Slide the new Shock and Strut Boot against the mount and attach any included clip and ensure that the accordion folds are straight out. Spring tension, tighten bolts to factory, re-install wheel, lower car, test drive and listen to squeaks or binding.
