  A: Service and repair of the power steering pump starts by taking off the RH engine under cover along with the Drive Belt but first using Special Service Tool: 09249-63010 to tension the drive belt through clockwise rotation of the drive belt tensioner bracket. Do not allow fluid to spill onto the drive belt while loosening the clip in order to disconnect the suction hose. To break the connection of pressure feed tube and oil pressure switch remove the union bolt with its gasket. The removal of PS vane pump assembly requires Special Service Tool: 09249-63010 for bolt A loosening while keeping in mind that bolt A remains stationary. Proceed by uninstalling bolt B and the PS vane pump assembly. Attach the PS vane pump assembly to mounting bolt A while using Special Service Tool: 09245-63010 and torque installation bolts to 30 Nm (305 kgf-cm, 22 ft. lbs.) with a torque wrench set to 345 mm (13.58 inch) fulcrum length. Fasten the oil pressure switch connector while keeping it free of oil contamination before you install the pressure feed tube with union bolt alongside its fresh gasket for torque application at 51.5 Nm (525 kgf-cm, 38 ft. lbs.). Proceed as follows: Attach the suction hose with the clip before using Special Service Tool: 09249-63010 to set the drive belt tension. Keep compressing the tensioner for at least three seconds before installing the belt. Put the RH engine under cover in place before you perform power steering system bleeding procedures.
