The first step to uninstall the Steering Angle Sensor consists of studying caution advice related to Air Bag and seat belt systems. The process to disconnect the negative battery cable must exceed 90 seconds to stop Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. First lock the front wheels straight ahead position before beginning the process of steering pad assembly removal followed by the steering wheel assembly. Proceed by removing the steering column cover after which you must detach the spiral cable sub-assembly.
