The next steps involve putting on the front No. 1 and No. 2 console box inserts and glove compartment door assembly together with the lower instrument panel finish panel assembly. The front console box assembly will be installed for 2WD and 4WD configuration before proceeding to add the console box carpet and the No. 2 switch base. Under this phase install all components including front upper console box followed by center instrument cluster finish panel assembly for both manual and automatic transaxles plus shift lever knob sub-assembly for both configurations. The next step involves installing the center instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly together with spiral cable adjustment procedures. Each front wheel needs to be straightened before assembling the Steering Wheel assembly while inspecting the steering wheel center point. Place the steering wheel pad first then install lower No. 3 and No. 2 steering wheel covers before connecting the cable to the negative terminal while maintaining the front tires and steering wheel in a straight ahead position.
