Users must align two locating pins before engaging all six claws on their way to attaching the sensor to the spiral cable. Mount the spiral cable together with the steering angle sensor followed by the upper steering column cover and then proceed to install the lower steering column cover along with the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly. After adjusting the spiral cable install the steering wheel assembly while inspecting the steering wheel center point. Finish by installing the safety pad followed by the lower cover named No. 3 steering wheel then the lower No. 2 steering wheel cover. Complete the negative battery terminal cable connection while both the front wheels and steering wheel should maintain straight-ahead direction until and after the connection is made. After completion the process requires checking the steering pad as well as the SRS warning system light.
