Earliest steps for front differential carrier assembly installation involve fitting the differential support assembly by torquing bolts E and F to 100 Nm (1020 kgf-cm, 74 ft-lbf). Using a jack and a proper placement position raise the front differential carrier assembly before securing the front differential support assembly with bolts A and B and the nut. After installing the temporary bolts C and D the initial torque of 120 Nm (1224 kgf-cm, 89 ft-lbf) should be applied to bolt A. Finally tighten bolt B and the nut before securing both parts at the same torque. Secure the breather tube at the front differential union while tightening bolts C and D to 120 Nm (1224 kgf-cm, 89 ft-lbf). The technician should install front suspension rebound stopper sub-assembly LH through 3 bolts at 58 Nm (591 kgf-cm, 43 ft-lbf) torque and then repeat the same process with front suspension rebound stopper sub-assembly RH. Refer to the service and repair instructions to mount the front
Drive Shaft assembly LH before applying exactly the same installation process to the front drive shaft assembly RH. Completion of front propeller shaft assembly installation must follow the provided service and repair instructions.
