How to service the knock sensor on Toyota Highlander?

To repair the knock sensor drain the coolant, take out the air cleaner cap, the hose, throttle body and intake manifold. Disconnect sensor, replace sensor with other sensor at 20 N. m torque and reconnect. Install the intake manifold, throttle body, along with air cleaner and pour in coolant and check leaks.
