First separate the EGR valve by disconnecting its two vacuum hoses while then removing two bolts and two nuts and finally taking out two gaskets and the valve. You will reinstall the EGR valve by placing it temporarily with new gaskets using the 2 bolts and 2 nuts then applying 13.3 N.m (136 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf) to the nuts and 10 N.m (102 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf) to the bolts. Reinstall the EGR valve by reattaching its 2 vacuum hoses following the EGR valve.
