Service and repair operations for the wheel hub should start with snap ring removal using snap ring pliers. The first step includes using Special Service Tool: 09520-00031 (09520-00040, 09521-00010, 09521-00020) to remove the axle hub. You must then follow with Special Service Tool: 09950-40011 (09951-04020, 09952-04010, 09953-04020, 09954-04010, 09955-04011, 09957-04010, 09958-04011), 09950-60010, and 09951-00370 to extract the inner race (outside) Open the dust cover by unscrewing three bolts with a torx wrench tool (T30). First, put the inner race onto the bearing outside and use Special Service Tool: 09527-17011, 09950-60010 (09951-00600), 09950-70010 (09951-07150) together with a press for extraction from the steering knuckle. The process of reassembly requires Special Service Tool: 09950-60020 (09951-00680), 09950-70010 (09951-07150) and a press to install a new bearing inside the steering knuckle. The 3 dust cover bolts need to be reinstalled after which the torques must be set at 8.3 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 inch lbs.). To install the axle hub using Special Service Tools 09608-32010 and 09950-60020 (09951-00680) and 09950-70010 (09951-07150) and press apply special caution when handling the bearing before you finish with new snap ring installation using snap ring pliers.
