How to install the knock sensor on Toyota Corolla?

Install the knock sensor for the 2ZR-FE engine control by using the bolt which needs a torque of 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf). You must connect the knock sensor connector as a next step. Place a new gasket on the intake manifold before using 4 bolts and 2 nuts to fit the intake manifold and intake manifold stay at 28 Nm (286 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf) torque. Conduct the installation by uniting each wire harness clamp and connecting the ventilation hose and two hoses. The wire harness bracket needs installation with a bolt secured at 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 8 ft-lbf). After that, attach the wire harness clamp. Connect the throttle body part to the remaining components along with the two water bypass hoses. You should begin by installing the air cleaner cap sub-assembly followed by engine coolant addition and leak inspections then No. 2 cylinder head cover installation.
