Removal of the knock sensor in the 2ZR-FE engine requires the draining out of coolant, then the removal of the No. 2 cylinder head cover and air cleaner cap.Unhook hoses and clamps to the intake manifold and disassemble the manifold and throttle body.Lastly, unplug the knock sensor and take it off.
