In order to service the cigarette lighter assembly, unhook the negative battery terminal and allow 90 seconds to pass. Take off the cigarette lighter cover and the panels required. Unscrew the lower part and screw it back in place by lining up the socket and attaching it. Lastly reassemble the panels and rejoin the battery terminal.

Remov the knob and socket to take out the assembly. To install, align with bezel stay and push the assembly in and then refit the knob.
