The first step for removing the rear console box requires the removal of the shift lever knob sub-assembly from the manual transaxle assembly. The 8 claws will become loose after running a screwdriver underneath them following proper screwdriver tip taping. The next step involves removing the console box carpet followed by unscrewing the screw and disconnecting the connector before detaching the two clips using a screwdriver whose tip should be taped before use. You must begin installation by attaching the 2 clips to the console box before reconnecting the connector and installing the screw while placing the console box carpet and then using the 8 claws to secure the rear console box cover. Finish the process through manual transaxle shift lever installation of the knob sub-assembly.
