The Scion A/C Expansion Valve maintains constant levels of cabin temperatures and this is achieved by fine metering of refrigerant that places the coolness one anticipates in the hands of the driver. Scion was founded in 2003, with its radical hues, small Release Series versions, and the no haggle buying strategy that permits youthful purchasers to customize each automobile, with an attitude that is street ready. The A/C Expansion Valve, which is a small item located in the vicinity of the evaporator, reduces the pressure of refrigerants and regulates superheat to ensure that the air remains cold without the coils being frozen or damaging the compressor. Installation of a new Scion A/C Expansion Valve requires recovery of refrigerant and disconnection of the battery. Take off panels and expose evaporator, loosen fittings and remove old valve. Replace all the O-rings with lightly oiled ones, firmly install the new A/C Expansion Valve, and torque fittings. Install reattach lines, fix brackets, wrap up insulation in order to leave no moisture creeping in. Vacuum and refill and check leaks and reconnect a battery and see to it your Scion is blowing cold air.
