  A: The first step to remove the Evaporative Emission Control Canister starts with disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable followed by waiting at least 90 seconds post-ignition to record memory and settings in the navigation system. First remove the wiring harness clamp bracket and pump module connector and purge line hose connections and air inlet line hose before removing the canister assembly through its nut. Follow the below steps for removing the air inlet line hose: step one is to push it towards the canister while pinching portion A and step two is to pull it out using only the hands.
