How to service the Air Bag Control Module on 2009 Toyota Prius?

Before working on the Air Bag Control Module you must disconnect the battery negative cable while waiting for at least 90 seconds to avoid activating Air Bags and pretensioners. Begin the service of the Air Bag Control Module by first removing the instrument panel finish panel lower center and then disconnecting the No. 3 air duct rear. Take out the three bolts mounting the center Air Bag sensor assembly while disconnecting its connectors to complete the removal.
