  A: When installing the brake pedal stroke sensor assembly you should attach the new sensor to the brake pedal support by screwing in 2 bolts with 9.3 Nm (95 kgf-cm, 82 in-lbf). The sensor lever must then be adjusted inside the brake pedal groove before checking for any foreign matter near its surface contact region. Brake pedal depression will disengage the sensor lever set pin after which you should remove the broken pin and connect the sensor connector. A temporarily installed sensor should go onto the brake pedal support by using 2 bolts while making sure the sensor lever interacts with the brake pedal groove and that both surfaces remain clean. Lightly connect the Techstream to the DLC3 and the sensor connector before manually enabling the power switch ON (IG).
