The installation process begins by adding the wiper and washer switch assembly after that install the spiral cable sub-assembly. The installation process includes putting on the steering column cover after setting the spiral cable sub-assembly. Check the central position of the steering wheel before you install both the steering wheel assembly and steering pad assembly. The technician should proceed with the installation of the No. 3 and No. 2 steering wheel cover lowers while connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal. First inspect the steering pad assembly before checking the SRS warning light. The last step includes system initialization which specific models need before and after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable on the negative (-) battery terminal.
