The stabilizer control valve protector must be taken out first. Open the stabilizer control through its connection to the accumulator housing shutter valve. Then, remove the rear wheel. Unscrew the bolt to detach the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly before disconnecting the cable just like the procedure for the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly. Separate the rear axle breather hose sub-assembly from its installation position on the rear axle housing assembly. Apply a jack under the rear axle housing assembly while setting it on a wooden block to defend against damage. Disassembly of the rear lateral control rod assembly from the frame begins with removing the bolt along with the nut. The removal of the rear shock absorber assembly from the axle housing requires detaching the bolt positioned on its lower section. A Special Service Tool named 09922-10010 should be used to keep the rear shock absorber stable when working on the LH side assembly. Begin by removing the bolt from the lower side. First remove the nut before taking out the upper bracket along with the shock absorber assembly followed by removing the lower bracket of the shock absorber.
