When removing an exhaust pipe users must first put on gloves followed by waiting until the exhaust pipes reach a safe temperature after engine shutdown. Start your work by taking off the under cover from No. 2 engine. You should detach the tailpipe assembly through bolt and clamp and gasket removal to disconnect the tailpipe from its supports at the center exhaust pipe. You should detach the exhaust pipe damper by uninstalling its two mounting bolts that connect it to the tailpipe. The center exhaust pipe assembly requires removal of its four bolts alongside two compression springs before taking the pipe from its three supports while extracting the two gaskets from the front exhaust pipe and front No. 2 exhaust pipe. You must disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connectors and heated oxygen sensor connectors from the front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly before you can remove its three nuts, front No. 2 exhaust pipe and its gasket from the exhaust manifold LH. Drop the heated oxygen sensor wire harness clamp from the front exhaust pipe assembly before using a wrench to remove three nuts, the gasket and front exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold RH. Remove all air fuel ratio sensors from Bank 1 Sensor 1 and Bank 2 Sensor 1 positions along with the No. 2 heated oxygen sensor for Bank 1 Sensor 2 and the heated oxygen sensor for Bank 2 Sensor 2 from their respective positions.
