Proceed to connect the air fuel ratio sensor and heated oxygen sensor connectors before attaching the heated oxygen sensor wire harness clamp. The front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly installation requires another new gasket which should be matched to the exhaust manifold LH using 3 new nuts torqued to 54 Nm (554 kgf-cm, 40 ft-lbf) standards while connecting the sensor connectors. The installation of the center exhaust pipe assembly requires verifying the compression spring's free length with a vernier caliper before proceeding; replace the spring if its measurement is under 43 mm (1.693 in.). You should install two new gaskets onto the front exhaust pipe and front No. 2 exhaust pipe before attaching the center exhaust pipe to its 3 exhaust pipe supports using 4 bolts and 2 compression springs which need to be torqued to 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf) for the front exhaust pipe while being torqued to 48 Nm (489 kgf-cm, 35 ft-lbf) for the front No. 2 exhaust pipe. The disconnection procedure must be performed twice on the air fuel ratio sensor and heated oxygen sensor connectors for the front exhaust pipe assembly followed by removing the front exhaust pipe and its gasket from the exhaust manifold RH by detaching the heated oxygen sensor wire harness clamp and unscrewing three nuts. The maintenance procedure includes removal of Bank 1 Sensor 1 and Bank 2 Sensor 1 air fuel ratio sensors together with the No. 2 heated oxygen sensor for Bank 1 Sensor 2 and the heated oxygen sensor for Bank 2 Sensor 2.
