Install the Canister Purge Valve by bolting the purge VSV to 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf). Connect the purge VSV connector. Attach the two hoses, turning the clip's claw upward. Install the V-bank cover sub-assembly. Finally, connect the cable to the negative battery terminal.

In order to maintain the Canister Purge Valve, unscrew the negative battery terminal and wait 90 seconds. Disassemble the purge VSV, disconnect the purge VSV connector and hoses and remove the V-bank cover. Re-Installation Replace the VSV, re-connect hoses and connector, replace the cover and re-connect the battery. Do initialisation when necessary.
