In order to service the Evaporative Emission Control Canister, remove negative battery terminal and wait 90 seconds. To remove the canister assembly, disassemble connector, clamp, tubes, and hoses. Restoration process by attaching the canister using bolts, fixing hoses and lastly, attaching the battery terminal and undertaking the initiation.

How to remove the Vapor Canister on Toyota Land Cruiser?

In order to remove the Evaporative Emission Control Canister, remove the spare tire first. Unhook connector, purge line hose and air inlet line hose, checking each one of them. Next, unscrew the vent line hose, wire harness clamp and strip the canister of 3 bolts and then unscrew it.
