    A: Before mounting the back door damper stay lower bracket, users should clean the vehicle body threads with non-residue solvent followed by adhesive application to the 2 bolts through Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324 or Three Bond 1324 or another suitable alternative. The bracket installation requires two bolts to be tightened to 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf). Repeat the cleaning process of the threaded portion on the vehicle body and apply adhesive to the threads of the 2 back door damper stay upper bracket bolts before reinstalling them with correct torque specifications. Touching the rod stroke areas during back door stay assembly work must be avoided to stop foreign materials from attaching while gloves made of cotton or similar materials should be avoided along with the application of horizontal forces that can result in cylinder deformation. Proceed with installing the stop ring to the back door stay assembly when supporting the back door with hand motion.
