Secure the bracket by using bolts that reach a torque level of 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf). After cleaning the vehicle body threads you should apply adhesive to the 2 bolts for the back door damper stay upper bracket threads before installation with a torque of 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf). The service on back door stay assembly requires holding cylinders securely when they need work and avoids rod stroke contact and uses cotton-free gloves because fabric fibers may leak gas. Horizontal loading of the cylinders should be avoided to protect their shape from damage. Establish the stop ring over the back door stay assembly before you support the door by hand and install the back door stay assembly on its correct position.
