How to remove the Clock Spring Assembly / Spiral Cable on 2009 Scion tC?

The first step to remove the Clock Spring Assembly / Clock Spring requires disconnecting the battery cable and waiting 90 seconds to stop Air Bag pretensioner activation. First disconnect the steering pad assembly while keeping the front wheels straight ahead. Next follow up by taking out the steering wheel assembly followed by the steering column cover. After disconnecting clock spring connectors safely the Air Bag wire harness you should disengage three claws then pull out the clock spring sub-assembly.
