  A: The beginning of installing the Clock Spring Assembly / Clock Spring requires checking that front wheels point directly forward. Before insertion place the turn signal switch in a neutral position because incorrect alignment can break the pin. The installation requires use of 4 screws to attach the clock spring sub-assembly while detachment of the lock pin is necessary when adding a new component and the Air Bag needs to be connected. Use three screws to fasten the steering column cover. Unplug the battery negative terminal first and switch off the ignition. Give it 90 seconds before starting installation.
