2008 Toyota Sienna Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove the drive belt on 2008 Toyota Sienna?
A: The first step for drive belt removal from the 2GR-FE engine begins with removing the front right wheel and continuing with removal of the right side front fender apron seal. Proceed by using Special Service Tool: 09249-63010 to allow the belt tensioner to turn counterclockwise which will result in the V-ribbed belt exiting the belt tensioner. You should place a 5 mm bi-hexagon wrench inside the holes found in the V-ribbed belt tensioner to keep it locked in position after turning the tensioner counterclockwise.
