2009 Toyota Sienna Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove the drive belt on 2009 Toyota Sienna?
A: Start drive belt removal on the 2GR-FE engine by taking away the right-hand front wheel and front fender apron seal from its right position. The belt tensioner requires the Special Service Tool: 09249-63010 to unwind its tension through counterclockwise rotation which enables easy removal of the V-ribbed belt from its position. When rotating the belt tensioner counterclockwise, you should position it properly through its holes before inserting a 5 mm bi-hexagon wrench to maintain the V-ribbed belt tensioner in position.
