How to install the rear Crankshaft Seal on 2008 Toyota Sequoia?

Before inserting the new rear crankshaft oil seal into the 2UZ-FE engine the lip requires an application of MP grease. Special Service Tool 09223-56010 together with a hammer allow installation of the oil seal until it reaches the specified position where it matches the rear seal retainer border while the lip must stay clear of contaminants and remain perpendicular to the installation surface. First install both the drive plate and ring gear sub-assembly followed by automatic transmission assembly according to each 2WD and 4WD configuration. Examine for fluid leaks of oil and coolant and automatic transaxle fluid soon after installing all components. The No. 1 engine under cover needs installation at the end of this procedure.
