How to remove the windshield washer pump on 2008 Toyota RAV4?

A proper procedure to remove windshield washer motor involves disconnecting the negative battery terminal and waiting 90 seconds to avoid the activation of Air Bags and seat belts pretensioners. The washer inlet sub-assembly should be removed by unclipping the washer inlet then gently lifting the washer inlet of the jar and pump upward until it detaches from the windshield washer jar and pump. The installer should begin by taking out the front fender liner LH and RH followed by the radiator support opening cover before removing the front bumper cover. Extract the washer fluid through the removal of washer hoses from the windshield washer motor and pump assembly into a suitable collection container. Disconnection of the connectors allows you to extract the washer jar and pump assembly using the removal of three bolts. Finally take out both windshield washer motor and pump assemblies that are inside the washer jar packaging.
