Before installation of the 2AZ-FE engine control system Camshaft Position Sensor begin by checking the O-ring for any damage or installation obstruction. It is important to oil the O-ring lightly with engine oil before putting the sensor in place with the bolt until you reach 9.0 Nm (90 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf) torque. Next, connect the sensor connector. The last step consists of connecting the negative battery cable followed by checking for any oil leakage around the sensor area. Reinstall the air cleaner cap last. Place the final engine cover on number 1 position.
