2008 Toyota Land Cruiser Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch on 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser?
A: The Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch for 3UR-FE engine control removal begins by first removing both right-hand and left-hand front fender splash shield sub-assembly then continuing with the No. 1 engine under cover sub-assembly and draining engine coolant before removing the V-bank cover sub-assembly. Drain and remove the engine coolant before stripping off the sub-assembly of No. 1 engine under cover. The next step requires removal of the V-bank cover sub-assembly. Connector disconnection of the sensor allows access to the 19 mm deep socket wrench for sensor removal while the gasket needs removal from the sensor.
