Subsequently, remove the V-bank cover sub-assembly. Start by disconnecting the sensor connector. Then use a 19 mm deep socket wrench to disassemble the sensor while extracting the gasket. Drain the engine coolant while performing the step of removing the No. 1 engine under cover sub-assembly. The technician should detach the V-bank cover sub-assembly after draining the engine coolant. Detaching the engine coolant temperature sensor includes disconnecting the sensor connector followed by installation of a 19 mm deep socket wrench to remove the sensor then removing the sensor gasket.
