How do you remove the Window Motor on 2008 Toyota Highlander?

Remove the power window regulator motor following two steps: disconnect the battery negative terminal and wait 90 seconds then activate the service mode. Remember that you must initialize certain systems before using their connected cables again. Start by removing the front door lower frame bracket garnish and then take out other parts like the inside handle bezel plug, armrest upper base panel, assist grip cover, courtesy light assembly, trim board sub-assembly, inner glass Weather Strip, service hole cover, glass sub-assembly and window regulator sub-assembly. To take out the 3 screws use a "TORX" driver (T25) on the front power window regulator motor assembly. To take out the window division bar parts you need to first untuck the inside handle bezel plug then the armrest upper base panel followed by the assist grip cover and trim board parts under the Weather Strip. Also remove the inner glass Weather Strip parts from the service hole area and shake out the upper Weather Strip component. Uninstall the rear door glass track first followed by window division bar sub-assembly, quarter window glass, glass unit, and window regulator parts. Position the lift arm by connecting the battery's positive and negative leads as indicated before uninstalling the three "TORX" (T25) screws with a driver.
