How to disassemble the brake master cylinder on 2008 Toyota Highlander?

Place aluminum plates on the vise prior to mounting the brake master cylinder sub-assembly before beginning disassembly steps. A 12 mm union nut wrench enables removal of the brake master cylinder to way tube from its connection to both the No. 2 brake tube way and brake master cylinder body. After mounting the brake master cylinder sub-assembly in a vise with aluminum plates you should take the No. 2 brake tube way out of the brake master cylinder body. The brake master cylinder sub-assembly should be mounted in a vise with aluminum plates before using a pin punch and hammer to tap out the straight pin which removes the brake master cylinder reservoir assembly. In the last step remove the two grommets from the master cylinder reservoir assembly of the brake master cylinder reservoir.
